Where are we?
We are located in the heart of Piedmont, between the Provinces of Turin, Asti, and Cuneo. Halfway between Turin and Alba, along the S.P.134, just a few minutes from the Carmagnola motorway exit. The municipality is Poirino, but historically this is the village of Ternavasso. Between Pralormo and Carmagnola, we are at the gateway to the Roero area, in what is now recognized as the heart of the Chierese-Carmagnolese plateau.
Bar & Restaurant
The Poggio dining room welcomes guests by surprising their senses.
First, the sight, captivated by the brick-vaulted ceiling; then the sense of smell, with the aromas of the countryside, freshly cut grass, and home-style cooking from the past.
Next comes touch, with plaster walls left rough and stone guiding the way toward the tables.
Hearing is enchanted by the silence of the countryside.
Finally, taste, suspended between the dishes of our rural tradition and ever-evolving culinary inspirations.
A harmony of the senses to share moments of happiness together.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool stretches between the restaurant and the fields, facing the sunset.
Its 98 m² water surface welcomes visitors, offering moments of comfort and relaxation. The maximum depth is 140 cm. A heating and cooling system keeps the water at a consistently comfortable temperature.
Open during the summer season from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Access is subject to restrictions.
Sport
We have everything needed to satisfy the desire for fun shared by both amateur and competitive athletes.
Our facilities include 4 synthetic Mapei tennis courts, 1 RedPlus clay tennis court, 2 padel courts, a five-a-side football pitch, beach volleyball, bocce, and a private 3 km cycling and walking trail.
By joining the Polisportiva Il Poggio Agrisport, you can attend training courses for both amateurs and professionals, and take part in various tournaments. The tennis and padel school is run by National Coach Graziano Silingardi.
P.S. In 2024, our women’s tennis team competed in the national Serie B league… well done, girls!
